Chet Johnson

"I base my paintings on photos I take while traveling or from memory.  Not all the people and places exist, but they are how I capture the beauty and history of time and place."

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Chet Johnson studied at Oklahoma and Oakland Universities.

With over 40 years of experience in the commercial and fine arts fields, he has headed the studios of Direction Graphics, Graphics for Industry and Centegraph Inc.
